2011/12 Vermont Tech Honors Convocation
Students Awarded for Academic and Athletic Endeavors
On Thursday, April 12th 2012 Vermont Tech held the annual Honors Convocation. The evening recognized students for outstanding achievements in both academics and athletics.
The following student-athletes received academic awards:
Ramsey Allen (Men's Soccer) - Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
Rachel Martel (Women's Soccer) - Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
India Beauregard (Cross Country) - Tau Alpha Phi Honor Society
Megan Jenks (Softball) - Most Professional Sophomore, Equine Studies
Alyssa Cassanelli (Women's Soccer/Basketball) - Most Professional Freshman, Equine Studies
The following student-athletes were honored for contributions to the athletic program:

Male - Kevin Carr (Men's Basketball)
Female - Abigail Senesac (Women's Soccer)
Scholar Athletes of the Year - Highest Male and Female GPA with at least 24 credits earned
Male - Caleb Young (Golf)
Female - Abigail Senesac (Women's Soccer)
Angus Murray Memorial Award - Presented to the individual who demonstrated selfless dedication to the Vermont Tech athletic program
Abigail Fusco (Women's Basketball/Softball)
Edward F. Kibby Memorial Award - Presented to the athlete who has displayed the most outstanding sportsmanship throughout the year, including having a 3.0 GPA
