Lyndonville, VT: The Vermont State University- Randolph Knights men's soccer team turned in its best offensive performance of the season Tuesday afternoon, exploding for five first-half goals en route to a 7–1 victory over VTSU Lyndon at Varsity Field.
The Knights wasted no time getting on the board. They struck first in the 7th minute with an early team goal to set the tempo.
Calvin Cacciamani doubled the lead at the 9:40 mark, finishing a feed from Colby Reagan. Less than 21 minutes into the match, Caiden Crawford-Stemple added the third goal (30:50), assisted by Paul Persson, giving VTSU Randolph full control.
The offensive burst continued when Henry Gibson struck twice in rapid succession — first in the 37th minute from a Will Jenkins assist, then again just four minutes later on an unassisted finish — pushing the lead to 5–0 at halftime.
The Knights kept their foot on the gas early in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Adolph Mbula scored to make it 6–0. Later, Caiden Crawford-Stemple capped off the scoring for Randolph in the 61st minute, netting his second of the game from another Will Jenkins assist.
VTSU Lyndon's only goal came in the 66th minute, when Ethan Cardenas converted a penalty kick to make it 7–1, which held as the final score.

The seven-goal outburst marks the Knights' highest scoring output of the season, and five different players found the back of the net. VTSU- Randolph controlled possession throughout, using crisp passing and relentless pressure to overwhelm the Hornets.
The Knights will look to build on this dominant performance Thursday when they face the Falcons from Fisher College.
