On the back end of a back to back, the Lady Knights looked to improve on their previous win. After a slow start for both teams in the first half, the Mustangs forced the Lady Knight's into 17 turnovers off of 11 steals, while scoring 38 points in the quarter. A thin bench proved to be no match the rest of the way. "Execution is a big factor in the way we played. We had a great game plan that wasn't executed. We will retool and get back on track," stated Coach Miller. They will have a tough 3 game road trip against NCAA D2 opponent Post University, then on to Ashland, VA to face Randolph Macon College and Eastern Mennonite.
