Vermont Tech Men opened the season with 9th place finish
Freshman Collin Johnson started his college running career finishing 41st and Junior Ryan Follansbee was right with him as both finished with a time of 18:55 at the Mayflower Kickoff 5K in Henniker, NH. Jon Henault (21:36), Nick Martiros (22:24), and Own Mayhew (22:29) rounding out the top five runners for the Green Knights.
Mark Gulesian from Babson College led the way and taking the first place finish in a time of 16:09 followed by Neal Hulstein (Gordon) 16:15 and Benjamin Bunnell (Colby-Sawyer) 16:16 to round out the top 3 of the 2013 Mayflower Kickoff 5K.
