The men's and women's cross country runners from Vermont Tech all tallied individual times, as neither team had enough participants to qualify for team rankings.
The standout of the weekend though was Freshman India Beauregard who ran a fantastic race despite the the past 2 weeks of hard training. Beauregrad finished 15th out of 53 total runners with a 5k time of 25:22. She was the top finisher from a Vermont college.
According to Head Coach Bob Dunkle, the meet was planned as a training race in preparation for the upcoming Vermont State meet to be held at St Michaels college in Burlington, VT on October 1st. "We have been training hard and most of our runners were somewhat tired and Southern Vermont has a very hilly course."
