Hilson and Shaw named to YSCC All Conference Team; Tyrrell named Coach of the Year
Auburn, Maine - Tow members of the Vermont Tech men's basketball team were named to the YSCC All Conference Team on Saturday.
Senior Tyrone Hilson was named to the YSCC All Conference First Team. Hilson leads the team with an average 18.1 points per game this season, and is also the leader in shooting percentage (53.3%) Rebuonds per game (8.9) and steals per game (1.8).
Junior Jeremiah Shaw was named to the YSCC All Conference Second Team. Shaw is right behind Ty in average points per game (17.7), and leads the team in Free Throw percenatge (84.4%) as well as minutes played per game (29.9).
Knights coach Alex Tyrrell also was named as the YSCC Coach of the Year for 208-19. Coach Tyrrell stated "the guys have showed they are coachable, and together we have had success throughout the season. We are looking forward to having our best performances at Nationals."
