Vermont Tech Women open the season with the Mayflower Kick off 5K

Jessica Write from Saint Albans, VT competed in her first collegiate race finishing in a time of 24:55 taking the 80^th seed at this year's Mayflower Kickoff 5K in Henniker, NH. Vanessa Conceicaos (Enfield, CT) after taken a short stint off from collegiate racing clocked a time of 38:48 finishing 121.

Salve Regina University had a strong showing with Amy Irving (19:28) and Victoria Varone (19:32) taking first and second in the 11^th annual Mayflower Kickoff 5k. Marina Capalbo from Babson College clocked a time of 19:49 to round out the top 3.
