Men's Team finishes 4th in YSCC Conference race
Green Knights led by Freshman Scott Durkee in 9th place.
Randolph Center, VT - On October 22nd Vermont Tech hosted our first YSCC conference championships. Leading the Vermont Tech pack were Scott Durkee (Chelsea, VT) and Dave Mattern (South Royalton, VT). Both got off to a quick start and held on to finish 9th (32:52) and 11th (33:10) respectively overall. Senior James MacDonald finished next for Vermont Tec and 27th place overallh with a 6 minute personal best course time of 38:40. James was followed closely by Nick Poland (41:03) finishing 30th overall. Vermont Tech's 5th runner was Nick Poland who also erased almost 2 minutes from his best course time. Over all the Vermont Tech Men took 4th place in the YSCC Conference and are preparing for nationals in 3 weeks.
