Lyndonville, VT: Sunday, Vermont State University Randolph Men's Basketball team took on Framingham State in the championship game of the Vermont State University Classic. The Knights could not overcome a slow start and fell to the Rams 79-70.
The Knights were led by junior guard Jaylon Calvin who had another outstanding performance scoring an efficient 35 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assist. First year player Tyler Allen had another strong performance as well with 16 points and 7 boards. Jaylon Calvin was named to the All- tournament team. The Rams were led by a monster performance by Jonathen Noel who had 32 points including huge baskets down the stretch to give the Rams some breathing room.
The Knights fall to 3-2. They will travel to New York next weekend for a double header against NYC Berkley and Five Towns College.
