State Champion Guard Commits to Vermont Tech
Randolph Center, VT: Vermont Tech received a letter of intent from Dylon Bunell, a sharpshooter from Concord, VT. Bunell is a graduate of Vermont powerhouse St. Johnsbury Academy and was a key piece of the 2019 state championship team. He also help guide them back to the 2020 state championship game this season before falling to Rice Memorial.
Coach Hughes: It's a lot of talent that gets overlooked in this state. Vermont Tech has had a lot of success recruiting out of state players and we will continue to do that aggressively. We also want to start paying attention on whats going on in our own backyard and I think Dylon is a good start. He can really shoot the ball, he has a high basketball IQ, and he was well coached in high school.
Dylon: I'm really excited to be apart of the Vermont Tech basketball program. I saw the team play at the Barre Auditorium this past season and it looked like a great program to be apart of.
Dlyon will be majoring in Architectural Engineering this fall.
