Lady Knights clip the #5 Clippers 75-61

Randolph Center, VT - VTC recognized 3 future grads Britney Alexis, Deja Cook, and Kiana Royer. Britney will graduate with honors with an Associate's of Science in Business Technology and Management. Deja Cook will graduate with honors with an Associate of Science in Entrepreneurship. Kiana "Pepper" Royer will graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Technology and Management. 

In a match up of conference power houses that had 6 lead changes in the first quarter and just one in the second quarters. The Lady Knights methodically destroyed the Clippers from the inside out.  UM-M struggled in the foul category, with 2 players fouling out and the all American Tate Dolly with 4 fouls. "They look to hide her in the 2-3 zone so we attacked the zone from the inside forcing them to guard us for all 40 mins." In an earlier statement from head coach Davon Miller.

VTC's press and half court offense maintained the lead for three quarters.  Tate Dolly peed all scorers with 25 points. Kimah Stribling led the team with 24 points 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and two blocks. Farah Mesidor contributed with a double double 22 points 10 rebounds, and 5 steals. Kennedy Henderson added a double double of her own with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 steals. 

The win over UM-M  extends their winning streak to 5 games. With an impressive win over three nationally ranked opponents. Week 10 national rankings are published on Wednesday. The Lady Knights are currently ranked 11th in the country. Coach Miller stated, "We are hoping the coaches poll recognize the level of play we have been sustaining and place us in the top five where we belong."

Today's win ties last year's program record 13 wins. They will have at least three more tries to break the record. The Lady Knights go on the road to face Paul Smith college on Tuesday. 5pm tipoff.
