Lady Knight's fall to #1 Southern Maine in a pivotal conference matchup.

The Lady Knight's got out to a 10-4 lead on the #1 ranked Seawolves of Southern Maine before going on a scoring drought that lasted the rest of the first quarter. That scoring drought continued the entire game. Shooting an anemic 29% from the field and 11.1% from long distance. But the most significant difference was the second chance opportunities and foul trouble. Coach Miller stated, "We continue to struggle with fouls preventing us from playing the aggressive style defense that we are known for.  Playing an entire semester with six players comes with unique challenges for both the players and the coaching staff. We are ready to retool and come back strong in the second semester."

Next up, VTC hosts an exhibition game vs. USCAA Division 1 #3 University of Maine Fort Kent.
