Women's Basketball gets a solid win vs Unity

Raandolph Center, VT - The weekend ended with a very solid win for the Vermont Tech Women's Basketball Team against Unity College on Sunday.

The Knights started off strong on a layup by Haley Buffum (Jamaica, VT)  to go up, and never lost the lead. Haley finished the game with a very strong showing, scoring 21 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.  The Knights ran their plays well, and got great quick scoring off their full court press in the first half.

Haley was joined in double digit scoring by Mariah Rillling (Randolph, VT) with 11 points, and Shana Linwood-McLaughlin (Georgetown, Cayman Islands) with 10 points.  All Vermont Tech players who played in the game scored, except one.
