Men's cross country signs New Jersey runner

Randolph Center, VT - Vermont Tech Cross Country is excited to welcome Jaiden Jackson of Cumberland Regional High School in Bridgeton New Jersey. Jaiden brings with him 4 years of track and cross country experience.

Jaiden has run 4 years cross country on the varsity team, running his best 5K time of 18:35 5K. Jaiden will be studying computer software engineering, and will joing the team in August for a pre-season training week before classes begin.

Regarding this next season's Men's cross country team Coach Dunkle expressed optimism. " We will have 3 sophomores returning returning next year in Michael Dunkle, Jonathan Puffer and Mathew Kelly, as well as Seniors Dave Mattern and Scott Durkee. Added to this well seasoned team are incoming freshman Nicholas Thorntaon of South Royalton High School, Max Mahr of Spaulding HS, and Jaiden Jackson of Cumberland Regional HS. On paper we are looking very strong, and expect to be a top contender for the team conference title. "
