Men's cross country signs another local runner

Randolph Center, VT - The Vermont Technical College Cross Country coach announced Friday that Max Mayr of Spaulding High School has signed a letter of intent to attend college at the Randolph campus and compete on the cross country and track teams.  "Max brings with him 4 years of experience on the Spaulding High School track and cross country teams. He competes well and has a great sense of humor. Max will be a great addition to the program."

Max has been team captain of the indoor track team at Spaulding since sophomore year. He was captain of the Cross Country team this year. He has run Varsity all 4 years of his cross country career with Spaulding with personal best times in the 1600 PR at 5:13.73,  1500 PR at 5:02, and the 1000 PR at 3:11 . "Adding Max to the team is a great bonus for our Men's team " Said Coach Dunkle " With his leadership experience and racing experience I am looking forward to 4 great years working with Max."
