SHAPE Fitness Classes

 

SHAPE offers a variety of Land and Water Aerobic Classes.You may join a fitness class at any time. All classes are available for a daily fee if you are unable to make most classes or if want to try the class first.

Registration is not required in advance, there is usually room in all classes. However to guarantee you have a spot you may e-mail us to reserve a spot in class.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

YOGA - Beginning Ashtanga Yoga is a combination of breathing, stretching, muscle toning, aerobics and deep relaxation techniques. 

MORNING ENERGIZER - This 60-minute land aerobics workout has it all: upper and lower body strength training, abdominal work and great step cardio.

TAI CHI - A gentle, holistic Oriental Movement exercise art and self-defense form. This series of movements develops and enhances health, energy, relaxation and well being.

LOW IMPACT WATER AEROBICS - Gently improve your muscle tone and cardiovascular endurance by using the power of the water throughout your movements. You don’t have to know how to swim.

ZUMBA FITNESS – Christina Manazir, Instructor

ZUMBA Fitness is a Latin-inspired cardio-dance that uses awesome music & choreographed steps to form a fitness party atmosphere. It is a total body workout, combining all elements of fitness- cardio, muscle conditioning, balance& flexibility. Exercise in Disguise-you are having so much fun you don’t even realize you’re getting a great workout! Rhythms used in class- Salsa, Cumbia, Cha Cha, Merengue, Reggaeton, Charleston & Bhangra. No dance experience needed. All fitness levels. Men & women welcomed. For ages 10 and up-under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Come join the Dance Party!
